Taiwan is stepping up its push into quantum computing, with President Lai Ching-te unveiling a new industry strategy. Lai said Taiwan can not only develop and manufacture its own quantum chips but also build quantum computers. Officials and industry figures say Taiwan’s semiconductor expertise could help it become a key part of the global quantum supply chain.
